How does automatic message translation work?

Learn how automatic message translation works in GlobiChat and communicate with buyers and agents in different languages in real time.

GlobiChat allows buyers and agents to communicate regardless of the language each person speaks. Messages can be automatically displayed in the recipient’s language, so both sides can read the conversation in their own language even when they are writing in different ones.

How to use translation — step by step

  1. Set your interface language in the menu on globihome.com or studio.globihome.com.
  2. Open an existing conversation in GlobiChat.
  3. Write a short message in your own language and send it — the platform will automatically translate the content into the recipient’s language.

Tip: If you prefer to read messages in the original language — for example, if you already speak the other person’s language — you can turn off automatic translation at any time in the settings of the specific chat window.
